Single-glazed - A single-glazed window or door is commonly found in timber construction.
Double-glazed - A-rated double-glazed glass units are standard on all-new windows & doors. Double-glazed glass units are the most common glass type.
Triple-glazed - triple glazing reduces sound and can also provide thermal benefits in some cases.
Laminated Glass - Enhance home security by upgrading to laminated security glass. It's tough to break laminated glass, just like a car windscreen!
Acoustic glass - we offer acoustic sound reduction glass with a low decibel rating to ensure you can sleep at night!
Toughened glass - is a legal requirement at low levels & in doors, and in other situations. There's nothing to worry about. Where necessary, our surveyors will order toughened glass. When an accident occurs, toughened glass is less likely to cause serious injuries. Kyte marks indicate toughened glass.
Float glass - used when toughened glass is not required. The purest glass is float glass, which provides a clear view without imperfections. The float glass is sharp when broken, like a standard milk bottle.
